The POINT consortium recently gathered in Tartu for a productive General Assembly, hosted in one of Europe’s most dynamic research hubs. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for partners to exchange updates, align upcoming activities, and further strengthen collaboration across the project.
Over the course of the Assembly, partners engaged in discussions and dedicated workshops focused on several key work areas. Special attention was given to tasks related to user involvement in the innovative tools being developed by the project, ensuring that future solutions remain relevant, accessible and responsive to stakeholder needs. Additional sessions explored progress on standardisation activities and pathways for translating research results into practical healthcare use.
A particularly valuable moment of the meeting was a co-creation workshop dedicated to shaping future communication narratives for POINT. Partners worked together on identifying forward-looking perspectives and storylines that can frame the project’s mission and contribute to the project’s long-term post-project sustainability. The session highlighted the consortium’s shared commitment not only to scientific excellence, but also to ensuring lasting impact beyond the project lifetime.
The General Assembly also featured presentations from project partners on recent achievements and next steps, alongside engaging scientific talks from early-career researchers and young scientists, showcasing emerging ideas and fresh perspectives from across the consortium. Of course, beyond the formal agenda, participants also had the chance to enjoy Tartu’s cultural heritage through visits to local museums and shared social dinners.
